We lived in the shadow of the Habsburg (family)

Our house is right next to the ruins here, you can't see it, it's on the left hand side of the photo behind trees.
The Habsburg'er was a family that pretty much dominated large parts of Switzerland "in the old days" when Switzerland was even smaller than it's now. They had a ton of castles all over the place (and even a town called Habsburg). You can read up on them at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habsburg.
